Lecture:   In conjunction with the Seattle Archives fair, historian Paula Becker will be giving a lecture entitled “Burying the Treasure: Collecting Materials for Future Fairs and Festivals” at 12:00 PM in the SPL Auditorium on the 1st Floor.  Paula is a staff historian for historylink.org and co-wrote (with Alan J. Stein) the book Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition,Washington’s First World’s Fair, and the forthcoming book The Future Remembered: The 1962 Seattle World’s Fair and Its Legacy.
